NANCY & TONY’S WEDDING HIGHLIGHT | NYC WEDDING CINEMATOGRAPHY & VIDEOGRAPHY | BY OLLI STUDIO

For two people, it’s “a very special network of family members and close friends who make up, what we might call, their tribe. For Nancy & Tony you are these people. By birth or good fortune you’ve all had a significant place in sharing, affirming and shaping their lives and they yours.” Truer words could not be spoken about a couple’s nearest and dearest. To witness and celebrate their union as husband and wife, Nancy & Tony opted for an intimate affair with their tribe. N was elegant in an over-the-shoulder wedding dress with finely designed ruching. A pair of Nine West strappy diamond heels and a matching silver, bedazzled clutch completed her look. T was handsome and smart-looking in a hand tailored, deep navy blue suit with black dress boots. For a pop of color, the Groom wore a classy pair of stripped red and white socks. This darling duo exchanged personalized, heart-felt vows at the SUNSET TERRACE venue at Chelsea Piers. An apropos name since the party basked in the evening sunlight whilst overlooking the Hudson River. Overall, it was a memorable evening with memorable guests for a memorable occasion. “With this ring I pledge myself to you, to our marriage, our families and to our everlasting, incredible, fun, never-a-dull-moment, sexy love.” Jeorgina & Zania stood hand-in-hand, looking into each other’s eyes, as they repeated these vows and committed ‘ever after’ to one another. Jeorgina glowed in an A-line wedding gown topped with a fine and delicately detailed lace. Her traditional long white veil and strappy Jimmy Choos completed the look. As for Zania, there’s nothing like a woman in uniform, looking strong, fine and fierce. Together, they were picture-perfect. The outdoor ceremony was a quaint and intimate affair surrounded by nature’s beauty at Long Island’s beautiful WOODBURY COUNTRY CLUB. FENDY & BENITO’S WEDDING HIGHLIGHT | NYC WEDDING CINEMATOGRAPHY & VIDEOGRAPHY | BY OLLI STUDIO

“This is a great day, and it’s not just a great day because we get to celebrate with friends and family – and to rejoice with people that we love. Even more, it’s a great day because we have an opportunity to praise God and to bring him glory. Marriage is the gift of God, given for our joy and our comfort. It is a great gift and a unique opportunity to model a deeper reality that is the love Jesus Christ has for his Bride – and laid down his life for her. So we’re here today to celebrate love. The love between Fendy and Benny, yes, and what they’re love reflects. That is the love that God has for his people, his Bride.” Opening words that welcomed loved ones to the sacred union of Fendy & Benny. “I just know that he’s the perfect man for me!” Marsha stated plainly, with a loving smile on her face. This past year her birthday marked the two year anniversary of this adorable duo’s first date. Her soon-to-be husband, Carl, planned an extravagant 12-day trip to Paris, where the two were to soak up the European culture and make new memories together. Little did she know that on the eve of their last night – and her birthday – would she experience one of her greatest life memories to date, by breathing one word, “Yes!” Just a few short weeks ago, Olli had the pleasure of capturing Marsha & Carl’s love story on film. Starting off casual, dressed in a chic yet relaxed look, the two gushed about one another whilst sitting pond side in CENTRAL PARK. Thereafter, M&C switched things up with a gorgeous form-fitting, deep blue gown for her, and a pink dress shirt, black bow-tie and matching suspenders for him. They were picture perfect as they strolled through the streets of NYC for their sweet Save the Date Film! For a peek, scroll below and click play!

Take responsibility for making the other one feel safe and feel loved. Give the highest priority to the tenderness, the gentleness and the kindness that your connection deserves.” Wise and moving words shared by the officiant to the Bride & Groom on their special day. On a perfectly sunny Sunday afternoon in June on the waterfront in Westport, Connecticut, this darling duo united as one in love and friendship. The affair was intimate including only those nearest and dearest to J&J. THE INN AT LONGSHORE provided comfort, class and an air of fairytale romance for the memorable occasion. On June 14, 2015, at a restored 19th Century raw space boasting an indoor greenhouse and lush outdoor courtyard and rooftop terrace, Kei & Mark renewed their vows and commitment to one another through the sanctity of marriage. The setting was picture-perfect for such a spectacularly momentous life-event! The atmosphere dancing with vibrations of magic, romance and sensuality was further charged when the Bride made her debut. As if she had come straight from the pages of a fairytale, Kei looked like a modern Arabian Princess dressed for her Prince. Wearing a muted-gold strapless ball gown with tiers of voluminous scalloped tulle, this dark haired beauty was striking to say the least. Kei chose to pair her smokey-eyed look with a slicked-back high ponytail, allowing her long mane to flow freely behind her. WEDDING BAND SELECTION TIPS | NYC WEDDING BLOGGING

Choosing the right engagement ring is hard enough, so you would think that purchasing a wedding band wouldn’t be as difficult. Well, you’re right. Of course, only if you let me guide you in the right direction. Here are a few Do’s and Don’ts when it comes to your wedding band selection:
1) Matching is cool for newborn twins or Junior High School besties, but not for newlyweds. Make sure your bands are a reflection of your own individual styles. Besides, it’s not like you leave the house each morning wearing matching outfits – at least I hope not.
2) Though you don’t want to buy the exact same rings, be sure that they have at least one element that’s along the same lines. For instance, a similar engraving is always a nice touch, or even stones of the same shape. Some may differ, but I think at the very least, they should be of the same metal.
3) Speaking of metals, make sure your engagement ring and wedding band are made of the same metal, too. It makes for a more cohesive and clean look. Not to mention, metals change with time. When they’re new, they may look the same but as they age, their color will change.
4) We know you’re fancy and may like the finer things in life, but please do not choose a band that overpowers your engagement ring. You want to wear these bands together, and your engagement ring should always be the statement piece. Think of the band as a beautiful complementary accent piece.
Before I forget, just a quick reminder that although I love eternity bands, especially those with diamonds or other stones around it, it is difficult to have it resized should you lose or gain weight. Just some food for thought. No pun intended. Until next time!

NICHOLE & CHRIS

To say that Nichole & Chris’ Wedding Day was unique and a barrel of laughs, would be an understatement. This couple are without a doubt the perfect match for one another. Both are known to be kind, loving, super adorable and ready to laugh at a moment’s notice – and these attributes (plus many more) were front and centre during N&C’s special day! Beginning with a modern New York City adventure through Central Park, the Bride & Groom met for their First Look. Kisses were shared and both beamed while photos were snapped. Next up? Nichole & Chris made their way down to Gramercy to their wedding venue of choice – the magnificent HOME STUDIOS. Using small DIY elements, including polaroid table photos and an Anniversary PiƱata, the B&G added a sweet and personal touch to the intimate Ceremony & Rockin’ Reception. Once vows were exchanged, heartfelt toasts were given and scrumptious food devoured, it was time to let loose on the dance floor with rainbow confetti and red clown noses for all! It was a perfect late-summer evening with comfortable temps and a magnificently memorable sunset. Making their way through the Chelsea neighborhood, it was fitting for them to stop by the eclectic CHELSEA MARKET for a dose of the uplifting energy from the surrounding hustle-and-bustle. S&R were certainly able to ‘play as if no one was watching’ – their love radiated right through the camera lens! We can’t wait to celebrate the newly weds on their Wedding Day next April! XOXO
